Falling Again

I always hate to see the summer fading away, but it really is fun taking pictures in the fall. Wendy and I went for a walk around Provo today. I wanted to get some pictures before all the leaves are gone, and she needs to stay on her feet for the last few months of her pregnancy. I'm editing my pictures, and she's now watching baseball..... I have the coolest wife ever!

One of my good friends, Kristin Hunt, married Andy Cartwright this summer. They had a beautiful wedding in Salt Lake City and I was thrilled to be able to take their pictures for them.

Under the Sun

Perhaps more than anything else, we've been looking forward to being on Dad's boat this summer. Ok, maybe that's just me. But it's one of my favorite things to do. After about a month in the shop and a new engine, we finally got on the lake this weekend. Sports photography is one of my favorites. This is my brother Jeff throwing it down.

Little People

For the 4th we spent some time with my family. While we didn't get to go boating because of some mysterious recurring engine problems, we still had a lot of fun. And of course I used the occasion to take some pictures of some nieces and nephews we hadn't seen for a while, because really, you can't go wrong photographing these kids.

A Flash of Light

I'm in the process of shooting a wedding for a friend, and as I got further into it I realized if I was going to pull off a half way decent job, I needed a little more lighting power. Say Hello to my new FLASH! Today I had some time to mess around with it and I think I have found a new friend.

With school finally finished, at least for a year or so, I was able to get my camera out again. After blowing off the dust and taking a quick refresher, it all feels familiar once again. I'm looking forward to the summer, and getting my camera out more often. Wendy and I celebrated our graduation and kicked off the summer with a trip to New York and Philadelphia.
