A Day at the Fields

Lacrosse is a sport I know very little about. To be honest, until today, I don't think I had ever watched it before. BYU plays on a field pretty close to our house, and on a sunny Saturday afternoon, it was a perfect occasion to snap a few photos. This was the first time I've ever tried shooting targets that move so fast. Quite frankly, most of my targets don't move at all. It turned out to be a challenge, but I had a lot of fun. On a different note, lacrosse seems like a pretty cool sport. With the brutality of a hockey match, and the quickness of a soccer game, you really can't go wrong.

Cool shots. Especially the "get out of my way" one.

I used to really enjoy watching you play soccer. You were really good! We'll have to find occasion to watch you again. Do you ever play?

Love the pictures. Cool photoshop effects. I really like how dark the lime pictures are too. So cool.

These are really good! My brother has played lacrosse for 6 years and loves it. He always says he traded up from soccer (:

Nice Steve. You're getting pretty good at this. I have some barn and cabin shots for you to take this summer....maybe a boat shot or a trout pic .....

About Me

My photo
I'm a biology student at Brigham Young University. I'm graduating this April and plan on submitting my application to Podiatry school shortly after. When I'm not consumed with school one of my favorite things is photography. I love being able to capture the beauty of the world. Everything I do is purely for my entertainment and sanity. My wife Wendy and I have a blog at stevenandwendy.blogspot.com where we post pictures that have more to do with us and our life. She didn't want me to take it over with abstract photos, hence the reasoning for this blog. I hope you enjoy
